If you’re looking for a slim and stylish water dispenser for your home or office, this Brio model can be to your liking. This product comes with a non-spill top, but you can use a regular one. Cleaning and maintaining this unit is not hard to do at all. You simply remove the plastic cover and wipe everything off, or you rinse the water reservoir once a year, a mixture of water and vinegar. The lowest water temperature you can get is about 40 degrees.
This appliance’s body is made of metal and plastic. It uses Tomlinson faucets to dispense the water, not buttons. Furthermore, the dispenser has a button on the back to turn the hot on or off. This can come in handy if you want to drink room-temperature water since this model doesn’t offer it. Turning the hot off will give you cool water as the radiator won’t work and heat it.
Both the hot and the cold water tanks are made from premium grade stainless steel, which ensures the cleanliness of the water.
One of the biggest advantages to top load dispensers, aside from being able to see when you’re out of the water, or it’s leaking, is the fact that it is gravity fed. Meaning that even though power is out, you can still get water from the dispenser. It just won’t warm or cool the water when the power is out. The machine isn’t noisy at all so you can use it in quiet rooms, such as waiting rooms or bedrooms.
You can use three or five gallons of water bottles from different brands. Also, it shouldn’t be a problem to use glass ones, as well. However, keep in mind that the dispenser may not work with a 20-gallon jug.
Room temperature and hot water are closer to one another in terms of temperature than they should be. Often times the cool option makes water that is closer to the cold one, but with this unit, it’s closer to the hot.
This stand-alone dispenser can be placed anywhere in any room as long as there is an electrical outlet nearby. The machine’s power cord is six feet long, and it works with 110V power supply.
For cleaning and maintenance, you shouldn’t have a problem. The non-spill top can be removed and cleaned, so no filth comes in contact with your drinking water.
What is more, keep in mind that you should wait a couple of minutes for the cold and hot tanks to fill with water before using the machine.
